Frequently Asked Questions
Is online Pilates effective?
Yes absolutely, by doing Pilates online you can choose where and when you get to workout - making it easier to build into your daily life and form a habit around. Online pilates means you can work at your own pace, and repeat sections if you need to, and improve your form. Rather than being restricted by a mixed abilities class, you can choose the workouts that suit your needs and goals each day/week/month. And, of course, exercising at home means you can practice where you feel most comfortable, for better focus and relaxation.
What if I previously purchased an on-demand bundle from you?
Don’t worry we’ve transferred everything over to The Feel-good Movement Club, so you’ll be given access to the on-demand bundles you previously purchased.
Do I get instant access?
You do indeed. If you’re new, simply join by setting up an online account and make your payment - then you can log in to The Club and select your first class from the Feel-good library. I recommend the “Introduction to Feel-good Movement” as your first port of call.
Will I have access for life?
You will have access for as long as your monthly /annual payment goes through, should you wish to cancel at any time, your membership to The Club will end after the last billing period.
Is the online membership suitable for all levels?
The Feel-good Movement Club online membership is suitable for everyone who is able and willing. You’ll need a degree of fitness, but as long as you choose the workout that’s right for you, you should have no problems. Pilates, stretch and strength classes are all available to you, so you can choose a class that suits where you’re at in your body each time. I’ll always recommend modifications or alternatives to any exercise, if there are options, during the session.
What equipment and space do I need for online Pilates, stretch and strength classes?
Ideally you’ll have enough space to stretch your arms wide, space on the floor to lay down and best to stay clear of low ceilings or chandeliers! Equipment is always optional but it does help with variety and extra workout benefits like muscle strength and tone. At the start of each class I do advise what equipment you may need and this can be bought over time or all at once. Online, sports shops and other superstores have a variety of equipment, so you don’t need to panic about sourcing weird and wonderful things. The most useful bit of kit for a Pilates class would be a Pilates mini ball. If you had a resistance band that’d be great. All other items can be modified or sourced around the house, e.g. a cushion for support under your head when needed.
What technical set-up do I need?
All you need is a computer, laptop or any device where you can log in to your online account via my website.
How do I access the virtual club?
You can access the virtual club via the online account you created when you signed up on my website. Simply go to https://www.alisonmarcuse-harris.co.uk/club-login or the online classes page and navigate to the classes, log in and choose a class.
