For 30 years I’ve been showing people how to move their bodies in new and exciting ways. In the past 12 years, I’ve been a cheerleader to women who want to reclaim their energy and move freely in their bodies as they approach midlife and beyond. Filling mats with joy, positivity and laughter is what I’m known for.

That’s why they call me The Feel-good Movement Coach.

Living this modern life means that you probably spend far more hours a day on your phone, laptop, in a car or sitting on your bum than you’d like to admit. And that means you’re starting to feel stiff and weak. It doesn’t have to be this way.

I don’t believe in repetitive workouts or pushing through the same gruelling routine, day after day. I also don’t believe that your best years are behind you.

I help midlife women who are feeling creaky, jaded and who have a picture of movement as a bit of a struggle to live more fully through joyful movement.

Weekly group classes, monthly workshops and the virtual Feel-good Movement Club all show how movement can be playful and fun, blending Pilates, stretch and strength for a whole new way of moving.

When you’re struggling with this new chapter in your life, feeling a bit stiff and jaded, I’m here to lift you up again. I get out of bed for making people feel better about themselves and their lives.

Get to know me

I’m a...

Mum to twins currently 19 year old girls, a wife to a lovely hubby and P.A. to Ziggy the needy 8-year-old Sprocker Spaniel who makes sure I get my daily steps in every day - enjoying the occasional well-earned cappuccino on the way round. 

In my vision of a perfect day...

The sun is shining, I’m looking out onto the sea. I get to walk the dog and have a coffee. 

I go to work and teach my classes and workshops with amazing, inspiring people. I get an hour to myself in the gym perfecting my squats/weights for my own self-care. I’m planning and creating new ways for my clients to discover joyful movement. My girls are embarking on their own journeys and my husband and I are planning adventures together. We've got lovely friends that we go and drink with. Then we go and watch the sunset on the beach and have a nice bottle of Prosecco and a laugh. 

What self-care looks like, to me...

As part of my own self-care routine, I ensure my daily step target is reached - people know me for my early morning dog walks as I love getting up and out early doors, whatever the weather - and I try to squeeze in a gym session or swim. This gives me time to clear my mind, concentrate on my personal strength goals and gives me more confidence in my body. I love a good challenge. When time allows, I love to bake and always love the Great British Bake Off, along with Strictly Come Dancing. You can’t beat a bit of glitz and glamour! I love mooching around the shops and going for a dreamy facial.

I’m a Level 3 qualified Pilates instructor, ETM (exercise to music) Level 2, Pure Stretch qualified instructor, plus Trigger Point Pilates trained. I’m fully insured with Fitpro Insurance. All of this wisdom gets blended up to form Feel-good Movement - so you get to experience a whole new way of moving your body.
